HOW IT WORKS
The three main components of Trigenics are referred to as the Trigencs Triad
1. Applied pressure to a myopoint (pressure point)
2. Muscle activation performed by the patient against the therapist's resistance
3. Patient respiration exercises (Autogenic Breathing)
These three components are applied simultaneoulsy for a synergistic effect resulting in immediate benefit.
The cumulative result of a short series of Trigencs Treatments is sustained relief and recovery.
Trigenics treatments mainly activate specific neuromuscular reflexes, which are used to dramatically induce the muscular relaxation response of a muscle in spasm. The patient is an active participant in his recovery with this treatment through the breathing exercises and the muscle contractions against resistance.
