NATUROPATHIC TRAINING AND LICENSING

Naturopathic doctors are trained to assess physical findings, lab information and case histories to design a treatment program specific to your needs. Naturopathic Doctors must first complete three years of pre-medical studies at a university and then four years of professional training at a recognized college of naturopathic medicine. Naturopathic doctors base their findings on extensive history,physical examinations using standard diagnostic instruments and laboratory tests, and lifestyle information. Naturopathic medicine is a regulated health care profession in Ontario and is covered under many extended health care plans.
